At the Marl Chemical Park, electricity and gas are distributed through regulated networks as defined in Germany’s Energy Industry Act (EnWG).

The distribution system ensures network availability in the following ways:

• Various supply feeds from the upstream network
• Redundant or meshed network structures supporting an above-average level of supply security
• Additional, decentralized supply feeds within the electricity network

For the use of their electricity and natural gas grids, we treat our customers fairly according to transparent, non-discriminatory criteria in keeping with the provisions of the EnWG.
